2.

It can be seen that the claim petition filed by the workman was dismissed as early as on 27.09.2011. We are now in the year 2026. No reason whatsoever has been mentioned in the affidavit explaining the delay. 3.

Mr.V.Vadivelou, learned counsel for the petitioner, makes an oral submission that, on account on the family background of the petitioner, the petitioner could not move the writ petition immediately. 4.

Even considering the said submission, the delay is enormous. The Workman has allowed the award to attain finality and has approached this Court very belatedly in the year 2026. Therefore, the challenge cannot be permitted, solely on the ground of delay and laches. 5.

The writ petition cannot be entertained and, accordingly, stands dismissed. No costs.

08.01.2026 veda To The Managing Director, Pond's Exports Limited, (Foot wear Factory) P.B.No.18, Vazhudavur Road, Pondicherry-605 009.
