I heard Mr.M.Pozhilan, learned counsel for Mr.R.Manoharan, appearing for the petitioner and Ms.Indhu Bala, Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

2. When the matter was taken up, Ms.Indhu Bala, has produced an order passed by the respondent. The same is scanned and extracted hereunder:

3. This is in compliance with the order passed by this Court. Ms.Indhu Bala states that the respondent has found that there are encroachers over the property. She states that time has been granted to the encroachers to vacate their encroachment. She adds that in case, the encroachers do not vacate and hand over possession to the respondent, the respondent will initiate appropriate action by invoking the provisions under the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998. Her statement is recorded.

4. Though the order has been complied with some delay, I am not inclined to initiate contempt.
