This application has been filed by the applicants to condone the delay of 780 days in filing the written statement on behalf of the defendants 7 and 8 in C.S.No.32 of 2023.

2. According to the applicants, they are defendants 7 and 8 in the main suit and since the settlement talks were going on between the parties, there occurred a delay of 780 days in filing the written statement.

3. The other side has not seriously objected.

4. Considering the above-said reasons stated in the affidavit, the facts and the circumstances of the case, and in order to give a fair chance to the applicant to defend the case, this application is allowed.
