ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) With reference to the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, the Tahsildar, Thiruvottiyur Taluk has conducted an inspection and submitted written instructions to the learned Additional Government Pleader vide letter
dated 24.03.2026. As per the instructions of the Tahsildar, there is no encroachment identified. The subject property is identified as a patta land in unapproved layout.
2. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would oppose the same by stating that the road portion as stated in the Writ Petition has not been taken into consideration.
3. In the event of any dispute relating to ownership, it is for the petitioner to approach the competent civil Court of law to resolve the dispute. That being the case, if any civil dispute exists relating to existence of public street, it is for the petitioner to approach the competent civil Court of law.
