ORDER
The petitioner herein, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 21.09.2025 for the offences punishable under Section 309(4) and 311 of BNS in Crime No.612 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

The case of the prosecution is that on 21.09.2025, the petitioner waylaid the defacto complainant and robbed a sum of Rs.550/- from the defacto complainant at knife point and also threatened him of dire consequences. Hence, this case.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he is in judicial custody since 21.09.2025; and that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for 2/4
the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has 23 previous cases; and that the investigation of the case is pending. 5.
Considering the submissions made on both sides, nature of offence, the previous antecedents of the petitioner, taking note of the fact that the investigation of this case is pending and if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, the petitioner would indulge in similar offence, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.
Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 07.11.2025 stn To
