PRAYER Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to count the petitioners past services rendered at the 3rd respondent corporation as Pharmacist for a period of 7 years for the purpose of reckoning his seniority and consequently direct the respondents to fix his seniority as Assistant professor accordingly grant him promotions due and to include his name under the old pension scheme by considering his total services rendered at 2nd and 3rd respondent.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the 1st and the 2nd respondents to count the petitioner's past services rendered at the 3rd respondent Corporation as Pharmacist for a period of 7 years for the purpose of reckoning his seniority and consequently direct the respondents to fix his seniority as Assistant Professor accordingly grant him promotions due and to include his name under the Old Pension Scheme by considering his total services rendered at 2nd and 3rd respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the request made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
