O R D E R

[Made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.,] The writ of mandamus has been instituted seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.09.2025 seeking for demolition of unauthorised construction made in violation of the building plan permission.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority would submit that the lock and seal notice has already been issued after identifying unauthorised construction under Section 56 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 [hereinafter "said Act" for the sake of brevity]. Aggrieved by the order of lock and seal notice, the owners/developers of the building preferred a statutory revision under Section 80-A of the said Act, which is pending before the Government. The petitioner is at liberty to implead himself in the revision pending before the Government. Subject to the final orders to be passed by the Government in the revision petition, all further actions shall be initiated in the manner known to law. Page Nos.2/4

3. With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
