O R D E R

This petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the 2nd and 3rd respondents from interfering in the petitioner's lawful textile business namely, Lakshin Tex situated at No.3/257, Navakadu, Mampalayam Road, Agraharam Post, Pallipalayam, Namakkal District - 638 008, pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 27.10.2025.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that the petitioner, who is running the textile business has given a complaint against one Perumal. The said Perumal has purchased textiles from him and has not repaid the amount. Based on the complaint given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted and CSR.No.135/2025 was assigned. Pending enquiry, the said Perumal has also given a counter complaint alleging that he was assaulted by the petitioner and he had sustained injury and admitted to hospital. Based on the intimation from the hospital, the respondent police have conducted

enquiry and CSR.No.500/2025 was assigned.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that in the meanwhile, the petitioner has also approached this Court seeking anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P.No.28321 of 2025 and this Court, by order dated 16.10.2025, had directed the petitioner to cooperate and appear for enquiry. He would further submit that the respondents are not interfering in the textile business of the petitioner and would submit that the enquiry in CSR.No.125/2025 and CSR.No.500/2025 would be completed within a period of two weeks and a finality would be given to the issue.

4. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Writ Petition stands disposed of. This Court also makes it clear that the Madurai Bench of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) Nos.9478, 9529, 10268, 10356, 10373, 10895/2025 (Abdul Kadar & 6 others vs. Commissioner of Police, Tirunelveli & others) has directed, that the respondent Police should not interfere in civil matters and the respondent Police are reminded of the same. 07.11.2025
