The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.09.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act in Crime No.568 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 1/4

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was found in possession of 2 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that, investigation is pending and opposed to grant bail.

5. Considering the nature of offence committed by the petitioner and the fact that the investigation is pending and if the bail is granted, it would hamper investigation, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. 06.11.2025 sma 2/4
