ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to amend the respondent police as " The Inspector of Police, Vedaranyam Police Station, Nagapattinam District (Crime No.381 of 2025) instead of "The Inspector of police, Cyber Crime Branch, Nagapattinam Circle, Nagapattinam District ( Crime No. Not Known of 2025) and consequently amend the sections as 77, 78, 79, 351(4) of BNS Act, 2023 and Sections 66E, 67, 67A of the Information Technology (Amendment Act) 2008 instead of Sections 67, 67(A) of Information Technology Act, 2000 and Sections 77, 78, 79 and 351 of BNS Act and Section 4 of Human Harassment Act and consequently amend the Crime No. as Crime No.381 of 2025 instead of Crime No.Not Known of 2025.

2. In view of the averments adduced in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is ordered as prayed for. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments in Crl.O.P.No.26752 of 2025 and issue fresh order copy. Further two weeks time is granted to the petitioner to comply with the conditions imposed in Crl.O.P.No.26752 of 2025 dated 13.10.2025. 13.11.2025 sma 2/4
