This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondent herein for not complying with the order dated 23.09.2024 passed in W.P.No. 25804 of 2010. 2.The Writ Appeal has been dismissed by confirming the award of the Labour Court. As there is no positive direction granted in the Writ Appeal, but only the order confirming the order of the Labour Court, the Petitioner was at liberty to take appropriate action to execute the Labour Court award in a manner known to law by filing appropriate proceedings before the Labour Court. 3.In the result, this Contempt Petition is closed. 06-01-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order GSA
