ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.10.2025 and 03.09.2025 seeking removal of lock affixed on the petitioner's property.
2. Mr.M.Rajendiran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that, pursuant to the order dated 17.06.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.No.11330 of 2025, the F.L.2 license earlier granted for the supply of liquor to the bar which was running in the subject premises was suspended and thereafter, the said premises was sealed on 03.09.2025 with reference to the eviction notice dated 03.09.2025 issued by the 1st respondent. Subsequently, the said licensee had surrendered possession and handed over the keys to the petitioner on 13.10.2025. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation dated 16.10.2025 seeking removal of seal in the subject premises. However, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.
4. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to remove
the lock and seal fixed on the petitioner's property by considering the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that, an order already been passed on 03.11.2025 for removal of lock and seal in the petitioner's premises and that the same will be removed by today itself.
6. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
