Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to pass orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.09.2025 for counting the period of service in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher rendered in Government Aided School as pensionable service as well as pay protection in accordance with last drawn salary on appointment in Chennai Corporation School with consequential and other attendant benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.09.2025 seeking to count the period of service rendered by the petitioner as a Secondary Grade Teacher in a Government Aided School as pensionable service as well as for grant of pay protection in accordance with last drawn salary on appointment in the Chennai Corporation School, with consequential and other attendant benefits.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
