Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders for regularization of service of the petitioner in the post of Assistant Surgeon (General) in Tamil Nadu Medical Service from the date of appointment on 19.07.2018 with declaration of probation and for sanctioning of annual increments and other service benefits including Covid -19 incentive including payment of arrears of salary and other service benefits along with interest in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner dated 10.10.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pass orders for regularization of the petitioner's service in the post of Assistant Surgeon (General) in Tamil Nadu Medical Service from the date of appointment, viz.,19.07.2018, with declaration of probation, sanction of annual increments and other service benefits including COVID -19 incentive, together with payment of arrears of salary and other attendant benefits alojng with interest, in consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 10.10.2025.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the proposal sent for approval of the petitioner's appointment, on merits and in accordance

with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
