ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider petitioner eligible for the Womens Self-Helf Group Loan Waiver Scheme and issue a loan waiver certificate based on petitioner representation dated 07.08.2024 and 04.10.2025.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a Member of the Annam Women's Self-Help Group, which comprises 12 members. On 09.09.2019, the said group was sanctioned a loan of Rs.6,00,000/- through the Cooperative Society and the said amount was equally distributed among the members. The members of the group repaid a sum of Rs.4,10,000/-. Thereafter, the Cooperative Society once again sanctioned a loan of Rs.10,00,000/- on 29.09.2020. From the second loan, the outstanding amount of the first loan viz., Rs.1,90,000/- was deducted and the balance amount of Rs.8,10,000/- was received by the Members of the group and the amount was equally distributed among the members with each members receiving a sum of Rs.67,500/-. As of now, the outstanding loan amount standing in the petitioner's name is Rs.74,900/-, including interest.
3. He further submits that the Government, through G.O.(Ms) No.114 and G.O.(Ms) No.32, dated 31.03.2021, announced a scheme to waive outstanding loans of Women's Self-Help groups. As per the said Government Orders, the
petitioner is eligible for the waiver.
4. He further submits that the petitioner was initially included in the first lift of eligible beneficiaries. However, subsequently, her name was removed on the ground that she is a family pensioner. The petitioner, however, is self-employed and does not receive any family pension from the Government of Tamil Nadu. Challenging the removal of her name from the beneficiaries list, the petitioner submitted a representation before the first respondent, but, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, she is constrained to file the present Writ Petition before this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondents and perused the materials.

Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the third respondent / Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Tiruvannamalai, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2024 and pass appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
