ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider and process the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2025 for the re-conveyance of the property measuring an extent of 77 cents in Survey No. 87/1 Tiruvanmiyur Village, within a time stipulated by this Court. 2.The case of the petitioner is the owner of the property in Survey No.87/1, Plot No.24, AIBEA Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur Village, Chennai to an extent of 77 cents and that he had purchased the same under a registered sale deed dated 24.09.2004 from one A.S.D.Natarajan. The further case of the petitioner is that without notice to the erstwhile owner viz., A.S.D.Natarajan, acquisition proceedings were initiated by the respondents. The further case of the petitioner is that subsequent to the Government Order dated 10.10.2023 issued in G.O(MS) No.136, Housing and Urban Development [LA2(2)] Department, dated 10.10.2023, several extends of land has been released from the Acquisition

proceedings except the petitioner's land. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 31.07.2025 to the respondents for re-conveyance of the petitioner's land as per the guidelines of G.O.Ms.No.136 dated 10.10.2023, however, there is no action from the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2025, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in

accordance with law, strictly in terms of G.O.Ms.No.136, dated 10.10.2023.
