ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue a separate patta in favour of the petitioners with respect to the subject property. 2.

Heard Mr. T.Sundaramurthy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader for Respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader [HR&CE] for Respondents 5 and 6.

It is seen from records that the request made by the petitioners has already been rejected by the 3rd respondent through proceedings dated 10.10.2022. Subsequently, the 2nd respondent has also rejected the request made by the petitioners through proceedings dated 18.06.2025. While so, the petitioners without challenging those proceedings, have sought for the issue of writ of Mandamus and the same is not maintainable.

In view of the above, it is left open to the petitioners to

challenge the proceedings of the respondents 2 and 3 and work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
