ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.05.2019, for the alleged offence punishable under Section 392 of IPC in Crime No.329 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is on the date of occurrence the petitioner along with other accused persons came in two wheeler and snatched the purse of defacto complainant which contains cash of Rs.8000/-. Hence this case.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner was arrested and he is in judicial custody from 26.05.2019 and is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution's case and submitted that the petitioner is having eight previous cases. Hence, he strongly opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

6. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, that the petitioner is having eight previous cases, if the petitioner granted bail, he will indulge in similar activities, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
