O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents to execute the lease deed and further permit the petitioner to operate the quarry in his patta lands in accordance with the lease granted by the 2nd Respondent dated 25.03.2025 and Prior Environmental Clearance dated 22.07.2025.

2. Mr.Stalin Abhimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents

It is the case of the petitioner that his request for execution of lease deed for commencing quarry operations in his patta land has not been considered despite compliance of all the statutory requirements. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court by filing the present Writ Petition seeking the aforesaid relief.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to execute the lease deed so as to enable the petitioner to operate the quarry in his patta lands upon satisfaction of legal requirements.

5. On the above contention, this heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to submit a representation for execution of lease deed to operate the quarry on the patta lands of the petitioner before the respondents within a period two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such representation, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law upon satisfaction of legal formalities within a period of four(4) weeks thereafter after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties. There shall be no order as to costs.
