This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (Act No.26 of 1996) seeking for extension of time for completion of Arbitral proceedings and for passing arbitral award. 1/3

2. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the arbitral proceedings is now at the stage of final arguments.

4. Considering the nature of the dispute that is pending between the parties, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate by six months for completion of proceedings and for passing final award, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
