ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to grant additional EB service connection to the shop at ground floor and two portions at first floor of the property constructed by the petitioner based on the online application Nos.1.No.2000930908251314 dated 28.08.2025 2. Online Application No.2000930908251315 dated 28.08.2025 3. Online Application No.2000930908251316 dated 28.08.2025 submitted by petitioner dated 28.08.2025 for three connections within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

It is the case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a lessee under the 3rd respondent temple based on the lease agreement entered into with the trustee of the temple compromised in survey No.493, in plot No.3 to an extent of 1200 sq.ft land situated at Door No.35/NA, Anjaneyar Kovil Street, Poonamallee Village and Taluk, Tiruvallur District. Further, in the said property the petitioner had constructed a shop at the ground floor and two portions at the first floor and

one portion at the second floor. The petitioner applied for three additional service electricity connections to the shop constructed by the petitioner at the ground floor and two portions at the first floor vide application Nos.1.No.2000930908251314 dated 28.08.2025 2. Online Application No.2000930908251315 dated 28.08.2025 3. Online Application No.2000930908251316 dated 28.08.2025 by paying necessary charges to get the fresh EB service connection. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents 1 and 2 till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representations within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representations will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the

limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representations dated 28.08.2025 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
