O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985 read with Section 8(c) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.178 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was found in possession of 1.750 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner stating that the petitioner has eight previous cases.

5. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
