O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.614 of 2025, pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the dispute arising out of a commercial transaction has been given a criminal colour and that the de facto complainant is attempting to recover the money through police action.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed, the final report has been filed and the same has been taken cognizance of on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Poonamallee, in C.C.No.575 of 2025. 4.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 06.01.2026 rpl 2 / 4
