ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to Family Court, Salem to expedite the trial in petition for divorce filed by the respondent in HMOP No.815 of 2023.

2. The respondent/wife filed a petition for divorce against the petitioner/husband under Section 13(1)(1-a) of the Hindu Marriage Act. The petition was filed in the year 2023.

3. A perusal of the adjudication sheet filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the pleadings of the parties are completed and the original petition was posted for enquiry as early as 13-12-2024. Thereafter, there is no substantial progress and hence, the Family Court, Salem is directed to dispose of the original petition as expeditiously as possible.

4. With this direction, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
