The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the building constructed by the petitioner has been demolished and the construction work for metro rail project is in progress. Therefore, the question of granting permission for erecting the tower in the building does not arise.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter and accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
