ORDER

Mr. Rajkumar, learned counsel takes notice for respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The relief sought in this writ petition is a direction to the respondents to provide a job on the compassionate ground to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representations submitted on 21.08.2025 and 25.08.2025, within a prescribed time frame.

3. It is stated that the petitioner's father Karunakaran joined the service as a CLR with the respondent Corporation and was subsequently promoted to the post of Mazdoor Grade-II in the Vandavasi Division. It is further stated that the petitioner's father died in the year 2013, while he was in service due to ill health. It is the contention of the petitioner that she and four others are the legal heirs of the deceased Karunakaran. It is the case of the petitioner that at the time of her father's death, she was aged only 12 years and now she is aged 22 2/5

years. It is also stated that she has completed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Therefore, the petitioner and her mother have submitted representations on 21.08.2025 and 25.08.2025 before the respondents seeking compassionate appointment. But the same has not been considered, till date. Hence this writ petition.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representations dated 21.08.2025 and 25.08.2025, within a time frame.

5. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the aforesaid representations will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 21.08.2025 and 25.08.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
