Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned final answer key released by the 2nd respondent on 26.09.2023 for the post of Sub Inspector of Police-Police Department, Joint Recruitment 2023, and quash the same in so far as question No.5, in type A series is concerned and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to provide 0.5 additional mark to the petitioner in respect 1/5
of question No.5 in Question booklet series A, within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the answer key released by the second respondent dated 26.09.2023 in respect of the post of Sub Inspector of Police, Police Department, Joint Recruitment - 2023. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3.This issue has already been considered and decided by this Court in a batch of writ petitions in W.P.No.30928 of 2023 and etc batch. This Court, by an order dated 30.11.2023, dismissed the writ petition and held as follows:
"In all these writ petitions, the petitioners, who are Departmental candidates and had participated in the 2/5
recruitment process conducted by the first respondent for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police, have questioned certain answer keys furnished by the respondent Board. 2.When objections were raised with regard to these questions, a new Expert Committee was formed and all the objections were referred to the Committee. In accordance with the opinion of the new Expert Committee, 0.5 marks each for three questions were awarded to the candidates and thus all the candidates herein became qualified for the next level of selection process of physical endurance test.
3.However, in the physical endurance test, the petitioner herein has failed to qualify. Hence, the petitioner may not be entitled for participation in the further selection process.
4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs."
4.That apart, this writ petition has been filed after a lapse of nearly two years from the date of publication of the answer key. The petitioner was already awarded 0.5 marks for three questions and is now seeking an additional 0.5 marks in respect of question No.5. The said issue has already been considered by this Court and the claim was rejected, as stated supra.

5.In view of the above, the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. Thus, the writ petition lacks merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
