This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to de-freeze the petitioner's account No.39206337137, state Bank of India, Villupuram Branch and second savings Account No.8071805299, Indian Bank, Kanai Branch, Villupuram.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police would submit that based on the complaint given by one Naveen Kumar, enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.297 of 2025, by the first respondent police and during the course of investigation, it came to light that an amount of Rs.4,100/- was transferred to the account of the petitioner in State Bank of India, Villupuram Branch. He would further submit that a communication has been sent by the first respondent to Bank concerned on 08.11.2025, directing to mark lien of Rs.4,100/- in the account of the petitioner. Other than that, the first respondent has informed that there is no other case 2/6

against the petitioner and the Bank has been informed to permit the petitioner to operate the account.
