ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Nagapattinam to dispose of the application in I.A.No.01 of 2025 in LAOP No.227 of 2024, filed by the petitioner seeking disbursement of the compensation amount deposited by the 1st respondent in respect of the petitioner's acquired property, within a time frame, fixed by this court.
2. A perusal of adjudications papers filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the said application has been adjourned from time to time for the past several months for filing counter by the respondents. It is also seen from the adjudications papers that arguments of the parties were also heard on 22.07.2025 and subsequently, the matter was re-opened and adjourned for filing counter. Since the said application is kept pending for several months, without
completion of pleadings, this court is inclined to direct the learned Principal District Judge, Nagapattinam to dispose of I.A.No.1 of 2025 in LAOP No.227 of 2024, as expeditiously as possible, on its own merits. This court has not expressed any opinion on the maintainability of the prayer made in the said application and the same shall be considered by the learned Judge independently.
3. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
