ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide electricity connection to the petitioners house situated in Grama Natham Plot No.461/10, Thirupperyar Thakka village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District by considering his online application Ref.NO.00025790624348 dated 5.6.2024 by considering petitioners representation dated 12.9.2025.

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner and resident of a house situated in Gramanatham Plot No,461/10, Thirupeyar Thakka Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District. He has been residing there with his family and has applied for a new electricity connection to his residence through an online application bearing Ref. No.00025790624348 dated 05.06.2024. Despite submitting the required documents, the respondents have not provided the electricity service connection to date. The petitioner has also sent a representation on 12.09.2025 to the concerned authorities requesting them to take action on his online application, but no steps have been taken by the

respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 17-11-2025 Rli
