ORDER

The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the State to condone the delay of 119 days in fling the appeal against the judgment passed in Spl.C.C.No.06 of 2015, dated 28.03.2025 on the file of Chief Judicial Magistrate at Vellore (Special Court for Prevention of Corruption Act). 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that it is a procedural delay. Since recommendation and permission to be obtained from various authorities, the delay has occurred.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent/accused strongly opposed the petitioner's contention stating that the respondent was acquitted by the trial Court and now appeal has been filed against him without giving proper reason for each day delay.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the delay stands condoned and the petition is ordered. 04-02-2026 Note: Registry is directed to number this Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order. rsi 3/4
