The Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner in respect of the petitioner's properties, which are subject matter of the civil suit in O.S.No.50 of 2025, pending before the Principal District Court, Kancheepuram.
Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ petition (Criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Notice to respondents 3 & 4 is dispensed with inasmuch as no order prejudicial to their interest is passed. 5.
The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that, earlier, based on the 2/5
complaint given by the petitioner alleging that the fourth respondent was interfering with his property, the second respondent Police had conducted an enquiry in C.No.140 of 2025 and finding that the dispute between the parties was civil in nature, they were directed to approach the civil Court. Subsequently, the fourth respondent had also given a complaint against the petitioner, based on which an enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.495 of 2025 and the same was also closed with a direction to seek relief before the appropriate forum. He further submitted that the second respondent is not interfering in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent.

Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands closed. No costs. It is made clear that the respondent Police shall not interfere with civil disputes between the petitioner and the fourth respondent, except in the event of any law and order issue arising therefrom, which may warrant initiation of criminal proceedings. 02.12.2025 ham 3/5
