This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to sanction family pension to the petitioner following the death of her husband namely Marappa Gounder and to pay the arrears in family pension and other dues to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's application dated 9.10.2025 2.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's 2/4

application dated 9.10.2025 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
