Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the fourth respondent bearing No.Na.Ka.No.A2/5105/2025 dated 25.10.2025 and quash the same and consequently forbearing the respondents from in any manner altering, mutating or cancelling the patta issued in the name of the petitioner bearing Patta No.2243 in respect of the property of an extent of about hectare 0.81.0 comprised in S.F.No.435/2A of Anukkur Village, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District in the guise of the enquiry in pursuance to the notice of the fourth respondent bearing Na.Ka.No.A2/5105/2025 dated 25.10.2025 and pass orders.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned summons issued by the fourth respondent dated 25.10.2025 and for consequential directions to the respondents not to cancel the patta issued in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.2243 with respect to the subject property. 2/6

2. Heard Mr.G.Ilamurugu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 5.

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by relying upon the revenue records which stands in his name. While so, summons were issued to the petitioner by the fourth respondent calling the petitioner for enquiry. The petitioner submitted all the necessary documents, before the fourth respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent is intending to cancel the patta issued in his favour. With this apprehension, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, it is seen that the petitioner has already submitted his representation along with all the relevant documents and attended the enquiry before the fourth respondent. Hence, the fourth respondent has to 3/6

necessarily take into consideration the stand of the petitioner and also the documents submitted by him, before taking a final decision in accordance with law. This observation made by this Court will sufficiently take care of the grievance expressed by the petitioner.

5. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 19.11.2025 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order ds 4/6
