A report has been received from the learned XXXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai. An explanation has been given as to why the directions issued by this Court was not able to be complied with. The learned Magistrate has sought for extension of time to complete the trial.

In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the learned XXXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Egmore, Chennai to complete the proceedings and to pass final judgement within a period of three months.
