Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the arrears of salary due to the petitioners, from February 2018 to till date along with 18% interest and consequently pay salary on pay day of every month without any default, failing which he respondents may be directed to employ the petitioners in any other department of the Government of Puducherry, with protection of existing service benefits. 2/5

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to disburse the arrears of salary due to the petitioners, from February, 2018 to till date along with 18% interest and consequently pay salary on pay day of every month without any default, failing which he respondents may be directed to employ the petitioners in any other department of the Government of Puducherry, with protection of existing service benefits.

2. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second and fifth respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2025 seeking to disburse the arrears of salary and terminal benefits along with applicable interest and pass orders in the light of the order passed in W.No.17126, 17135 and 17253 of 2024, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

3. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
