ORDER
This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking for extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal to complete the arbitration proceedings.
2. When the matter came up for hearing on 21.11.2025, this Court directed the learned counsel for applicant to serve notice on the counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent before the Arbitral Tribunal.
3. When the matter is listed for hearing today, it is seen that the notice has
been served and the name of the respondent has also been printed in the cause list. But there is no appearance either in person or through counsel.
4. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the arbitral proceedings are now at the stage of filing proof affidavit on the side of the claimant. In view of the same, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of six months from today.
