ORDER

This civil revision petition is filed seeking direction to the learned Judge, Family Court, Chengalpattu to dispose of the proceedings in I.D.O.P.No.396 of 2024, within a time frame, fixed by this court.

2. The petitioner filed a divorce petition against the respondent before the family Court in IDOP No.396 of 2024. It is seen from the adjudication sheet filed along with the typed set of papers that the pleadings of the parties were completed in the month of January 2025 and the main original petition was posted for cross examination of PW1 on 25.03.2025. Thereafter, it has been

adjourned from time to time without any progress. 3 .Taking into consideration that the pleadings of the parties were already completed and the enquiry is pending at the stage of PW1 cross for more than eight months, without any progress, this court is inclined to direct the learned Judge, Family Court, Chengalpattu to dispose of the IDOP No.396 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
