ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the fourth respondent to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated

12.09.2024 and cancel the TSLR standing in the name of the respondents 5, 7 & 8 and subsequently issue TSLR in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. 2.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit on instructions that pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 12.09.2024, the fourth respondent has commenced the enquiry on the said representation. He would also submit on instructions that only after hearing the objections of the private respondents 5 to 11, the fourth respondent shall pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2024. 3.

Learned counsel for the private respondents would submit that the petitioner has no locus standi to give a representation for cancellation of the TSLR, which stands in the name of the respondents 5, 7 and 8. According to the private respondents, since they are the legal owners of the respective properties, supported by the valid documents, the petitioner does not have any legal right to seek for cancellation of the TSLR.

4.No prejudice would be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the fourth respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2024 seeking for cancellation of the TSLR standing in the name of the respondents 5, 7 and 8,

after hearing the objections of the private respondents, i.e. 5 to 11 and any other third party whom the fourth respondent deems it fit to enquire and after giving due consideration to the written objections sent by them to the fourth respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the fourth respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2024 seeking for cancellation of the TSLR standing in the name of the respondents 5, 7 and 8 for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 5 to 11 and also any other third party whom the fourth respondent deems it fit to enquire and after giving due consideration to the written objections sent by them to the fourth respondent, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
