Assistant Executive Engineer in accordance with law.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner had already approached this Court seeking the very same relief in W.P.No.31793 of 2024 and this Court, vide order dated 25..10.2024, disposed of the said writ petition, directing the respondents 2 and 3 therein to deal with the representation dated 29.05.2023 on its own merits and in accordance, and to take a decision within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Since the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking the very same relief, if the petitioner feels that the order of this Court is not complied with by the respondents, he has to file a contempt petition. Instead of that, filing the present writ petition is per se unsustainable. Therefore, this writ petition is nothing but a multiplicity of proceedings. Hence, the relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition Page No.3 of 5
cannot be granted.
4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. 17.11.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order sp To 1.The Secretary to Government, Public Works Department, Secretariat, Fort St.George, Chennai - 600 009. 2.The Engineer, Water Resources Department and Chief Engineer (General), Public Works Department, Chepauk, Chennai - 600 005. 3.The Chief Engineer, Chennai Region, Chennai - 600 005.
