Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2025 and consequently, to issue patta to the petitioner of the land comprising in Survey Number 73, Lathuvadi Village, Mohanur Taluk, Namakkal District - 637 017 to an extent of 1 acre 50 cents within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

Order This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2025 seeking for issuance of patta in her name for the land (morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition) within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner claims that she is the owner of the property (morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition). She also claims that she is in possession of the property. She has applied for patta in respect of the said property in her name through her representation dated 19.06.2025, submitted with the second respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
3. Till date, no counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents.
4. The respondents contention is that, necessarily, the petitioner will have to submit fresh online application seeking for issuance of patta, since, application for issuance of patta can be processed by the respondents, only if online application is filed.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh online application seeking for issuance of patta within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the said online application on merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders after hearing the objections, if any, of the neighbouring landowners as well as from any other third party, whom, the second respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation made by the petitioner.

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to submit fresh online application seeking for issuance of patta in her name for the property (morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition) within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said online application within the stipulated date, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the said online application seeking for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner 3/5
for the property (morefully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition) within a period of twelve weeks thereafter, after hearing the objections, if any, of the neighbouring landowners as well as from any other third party, whom, the second respondent deems it fit to enquire.
