The matter was listed under the caption, 'for being mentioned' today. 2.The learned counsel for the appellant submitted that this Court had appointed Hon'ble Justice Mrs.R.Hemalatha as an Arbitrator. However, considering the fact that the Hon'ble Retired Judge is a judicial member of Tamil Nadu Lok Ayuktha, a communication was received to the effect that she is not in a position to accept the appointment.

3. In the light of the above development, this Court is inclined to appoint Justice R.Balasubramaniam. Accordingly, Paragraph No.9 of the order reads as under: "9. In the light of the above discussion, Hon'ble Mr.Justice. R.Balasubramaniam (Rtd.,), No.5, Tiger Varadhachari First Road, Kalakshetra Colony, Besant Nagar, Chennai - 600 090. (Mobile 9444353535 Landline: (044) 23465599) is appointed as the sole Arbitrator and the Hon'ble Arbitrator is requested to adjudicate the disputes between the petitioners and the respondents by holding sitÝngs in the 'Madras High Court Arbitration Centre under the aegis of this Court' (MHCAC) as per Madras High Court Arbitration Proceedings Rules 2017 and fee of the Hon'ble Arbitrator shall be in accordance with the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre (MHCAC) (Administrative Cost and Arbitrator's Fees) Rules 2017. 17.04.2026 RR https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
