2. This Writ Petition is being disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Respondents.
3. In this Writ Petition, the Petitioner appears to have filed an appeal against the assessment order dated 21.03.2022 on 29.11.2023. The appeal is pending before the office of the 1 st Respondent.
4. The learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Respondents would submit that the Petitioner's appeal will be considered and disposed of on merits as expeditiously as possible.
5. Considering the same, there shall be a direction to the 1 st Respondent to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible preferably within a Page No. 3 of 7
period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Needless to state, before passing such order, the Petitioner shall be heard.
7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
