Meganathan, Govt Advocate ADVANCE ORDER The Criminal Appeal is allowed and the conviction and sentence for the offence under Sections 366, 506(i) of I.P.C and 5(k) r/w 6 and 5(1) r/w 6 of POCSO Act, 2012 imposed on the appellant by the Learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethimandram (Fast Track Mahila Court) Namakkal, Namakkal District in Spl.C.C.No.20/2021. by the judgment dated 13.08.2024 are hereby set aside.

2.The appellant is acquitted of the charges levelled against him and he is directed to be set at liberty forthwith unless his presence is required in connection with any other case. Fine amount, if any, paid by the appellant, shall be refunded to him. Bail bond, if any, shall stand discharged.
