ORDER

The petition has been filed to condone the delay of 30 days in filing the above CRP against the order dt. 02.08.2025 passed in RCA No. 7 of 2025 by the XV Small Causes Court at Chennai.

2. Heard Mr.G.Ilamurugu the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. Mrs.Deepika Murali, learned counsel for the respondent would submit that, though the delay is only 30 days, the conduct of the petitioner does not entitle him to file a petition to condone the said delay. She would further submit that the respondent had instituted execution proceedings and only after the execution petition was allowed, the petitioner had even applied for the copy application of the judgment of the Rent Control Appellate Authority. She would therefore pray for no indulgence to be shown to the petitioner.

4. However, I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of this petition and I do not find any malafides or intended delay on the part of the petitioner in filing a revision challenging the order of the Rent Control Appellate Authority.

5. Therefore, I am inclined to condone the delay and the petition is ordered.

6. Registry is directed to number the revision, if it is otherwise in order and post the matter for admission on 25.11.2025. Registry shall print the name of Mrs.Deepika Murali, learned counsel for the respondent, at that time.
