ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to finalise the application submitted by the petitioner for registration of trademark.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for respondents.
3.The case of the petitioner is that they had approached the 2 nd respondent and filed an application for registration of its product 'OxiMErai' on 30.12.2024. According to the petitioner, the application for registration of trademark has cleared the formality check at the office of the 2 nd respondent.
However, it was not taken up for consideration. It is under these circumstances,
3/6 the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of grievance expressed by the petitioner and without expressing any view on the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 30.12.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law and take a decision and convey the same to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
