ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate VII, Coimbatore to dispose of the case in C.C.No.860 of 2024 arising out of Crime No.15 of 2022 registered for the st offences under Sections 406, 420 & 468 of IPC on the file of the 1 respondent Police, within a period of three months.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1 st respondent submitted that it is a case of financial fraud pertaining to job racketeering and that there are 44 witnesses in this case and the case is now posted on 10.12.2025 for 2/6

appearance of the accused.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering that the complaint is of the year 2022 and despite filing of the charge sheet as early as in the year 2024, the trial is still pending, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate VII, Coimbatore, to complete the trial in C.C.No.860 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
