Respondent (Crime No.107 of 2025) PRAYER : Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, Act, 2023, to relax the condition of stay at Salem District and report before the Inspector of Police, Salem Town Police Station daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two months. It is made clear that the petitioners shall not enter into the jurisdiction of the respondent police for the said period of two months. Thereafter, they shall report before the respondent police on every Tuesday at 10.30 a.m., until futher orders as condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.25353 of 2025 in Crime No.107 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police vide order dated 16.09.2025. ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking to relax the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.25353 of 2025 in Crime No.107 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police vide order dated 16.09.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioners have been regularly complying with the conditions imposed by this Court.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.25353 of 2025 dated 16.09.2025, is modified to the effect that the petitioners are directed to appear before the respondent police once in a week i.e., on every Monday at 10.30 a.m., for the period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for investigation.
