PRAYER; This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 5th Respondent to release the pending payment of Rs.15,10,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs and Ten Thousand only) due to the petitioner for the completed periodical maintenance works of the Court building and Judicial Officers Quarters at Thadangamur, Dharmapuri District, within a time frame fixed by this Honble Court For Petitioner(s):

ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 5th Respondent to release the pending payment of Rs.15,10,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs and Ten Thousand only) due to the petitioner for the completed periodical maintenance works of the Court building and Judicial Officers Quarters at Thadangamur, Dharmapuri District, within a time frame fixed by this Honble Court
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is a registered contractor under the PWD, Dharmapuri District. The petitioner was entrusted with the periodical maintenance and repair works of the Court building, Dharmapuri for the financial year 2021-2022 and the petitioner has completed
the said works in accordance with the approved specifications. The total value of the work executed amount to Rs.15,00,000/- and the same has not been paid. Hence the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to disburse the pending amount to the petitioner within a period of six
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
