ORDER

This petition has been filed to amend the existing prayer FROM "It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS or any other order or direction in the nature of the Writ by directing the respondents to promote the Petitioner temporarily in the post of Inspector of police (Taluk) for the Panel Year 2023-24 vide Proceedings C.No. A1/E-54311238/2023 dated 12.09.2023 of the 3rd respondent or alternatively, for the panel year 2024-25 without taking into account the pendency of Criminal Prosecution in C.C.No. 1040/2024 on the file of the Learned C.J.M.Coimbatore with all attendant benefits within the time frame, pass such other order as may be deemed fit and proper in the circumstanced of the case and render justice."

AS "It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARIFIED MANDAMUS or any other order or direction in the nature or the Writ by calling for records and quashing the order on 11.07.2025 vide Rc.No. NGBI (2)/E/GDP 02/2025 of the first respondent rejecting the representation dated 28.04.2025 of the petitioner by not including his name in the C list of Sls (Taluk) for the year 2024-2025 and consequently direct the first respondent to promote the petitioner temporarily by including his name in the C list of Sls (Taluk) fit for promotion as the Inspector of the police for the year 2023-2024 as recommendation by the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings C.No. A1/E-54311238/2023 dated 12.09.2023 or alternatively for the panel year 2024-2025 without taking into account the pendency of criminal prosecution in CC.No. 1040/2024 on the file of the Learned C.J.M.Coimbatore and subject to the outcome of the above prosecution with all attendant benefits."

2. The learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to the petition being ordered, accordingly this petition is ordered as prayed for.

3. The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments and post the matter on 10.04.2026.
